Incarnatum Exhibition Photos Friday 13th Feb
Hosted by the underground free community and gallery
space Emporium www.emporium37.blogspot.com in the heart
of Bristol's Cultural Quarter of Stokes Croft, this eclectic mix of surreal
sculptures paintings and drawings were extracts from a self written story by
LuLu.
The opening night was compared by award winning Poet Wilf Merttens and accompanied by acoustic music from Sarah Joy and Jaime Harrison. The beginning of the night saw people sat round in the hay listening intently to the dark stories and poetry of Wilf moving into the beautiful acoustic music and apocalyptically finishing off the night with dark and eerie dubstep from Bristols Smokelife, Trufflehunter and Whatnot.

This
year LuLu has painted live at the 'Metro SnowShow' in Londons
Kensington Olympia, Bristol's 'Glostenbury', a Skate, Music and Art
Festival hosted by The Golden Lion and 'Nass' a Skate, Music and Motor
Cross Festival at the Bath and West Showground and also begun in
creating designs for snowboards.
LuLu studied Technical Arts and Special Effects at Wimbledon School of Art. This gave LuLu a background in large scale figurative and fantasy sculpture and a strong thematic influence from the film industry. At college LuLu also had experience in making prosthetics, puppets, creating sets and molding and casting in a variety of materials.
At Art college LuLu started illustrating and creating concepts for her own story form which she went on to sculpt her 'Humanity Impaled' as a 3D still. This theme is ongoing and one which LuLu hopes to publish on completion. The story is based on the corruption and redemption of humanity, 2012 theories and a breif look into Mayan philosophy.

Since leaving art college LuLu has had a major exhibition in The Arndean Gallery in Londons prolific Cork Street, held a sculpture trail exhibiting alongside the painter Nicholas Bremer in the Devon Artworks exhibition and exhibited at the 'In Bristol Studios'.
